1. How does Painteradam work?
After putting in a few details through our online calculator, one of our experienced managers will get in touch with you to confirm the requirements of the job. After receiving your confirmation, we will allocate one of the most suitable painters for your job. We can start painting the next day. After the job is finished we will check your satisfaction and send you the payment details.
2. When are you available to start painting?
We have the largest network of local painters in the UK and therefore, can start at your earliest convenience, even tomorrow!
3. How does the payment work?
After the painting is finished you will check the place with the painter and if you are happy with the result you will sign a handover protocol with them. Afterwards we will issue a payment request with all the details. Payments are made only through bank transfer.
4. How can you ensure the quality and that I will be satisfied with the result?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. We work exclusively with professional painters recommended by our previous customers, and our quotes are designed for high-quality, long-lasting results. We take and have a strict policy of only cooperating with professionals. Each quote includes thorough preparation: before painting, walls are cleaned, imperfections are filled, and an undercoat is applied to ensure an even and durable finish.
5. If there is something that I am not satisfied with, can it be fixed?
There will be a manager assigned to your job from the beginning to the very end. In case you have any questions or find shortcomings in the work, please contact your assigned manager who will help mediate between yourself and the painter in order to solve the issue. We pride ourselves in providing the best quality and therefore highly value your feedback.
6. Does the painter have to come for an examination before the job starts?
We want to save both yours and the painters time and with our profound experience there is no need for examinations anymore. Based on our experience we can price most of the requirements over the phone. In case you have a specific requirement, please send us photos and we can provide the price within a few minutes. If your quote includes cleaning after painting, the painter will pay extra attention to keeping your home clean. However, please note that painters are not as good at cleaning as professional cleaners. There may still be spots to clean here and there. If you require the cleaning to be flawless, please consider employing a professional cleaning company.
7. How can you calculate the price based on the rooms?
Thanks to our experience in the british market, we are well-versed in the typical measurements of rooms and spaces in regular flats and homes. However, as we delve into the specifics during our phone discussion, we kindly request your assistance in sharing any details about exceptionally spacious areas that may go beyond the standard dimensions. If you're unsure whether your room falls into this category, you can use your friends' or parents' places as a reference point for comparison. Importantly, please relay this information to our project managers during your phone conversation, as it allows us to provide you with an accurate estimated price upfront, ensuring a transparent and pleasant experience without any unexpected surprises. 8. Do I need to worry about buying paint?
We make painting your home convenient and hassle-free by offering three paint packages. By default, your quote includes the cost of the Essential package, which includes reliable quality white paint. If you are looking for a different finish or colour, you can easily upgrade to Premium or Prestige. Using our paint packages is most likely to result in a great finish, as we have selected only high quality paints for each package. While you can opt for the “none” option and supply your own paint, we recommend choosing one of our packages to avoid issues with inconsistent finishes durability.
9. What’s included in Essential, Premium, and Prestige paint packages?
Essential is perfect if you need white paint only without any compromise in quality. The package includes trusted, high-quality white paints: Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt, Dulux Trade Supermatt, Dulux Total Cover pure brilliant and Dulux Pure Brilliant. When you need a consistent and smooth white finish, Essential is here for you. Premium is ideal for projects that require coloured paints or extra durable paints for high-traffic areas like kitchens and baths. This package includes Dulux Heritage paints for premium whites and colours and Dulux Easycare washable and durable finishes. Prestige is for only when the best will do–this package offers designer-quality paints. This package includes top-tier paints from Little Greene and Estate as well as Modern Emulsion from Farrow and Ball.

11. What is "extra cleaning"?
The painter will always ensure that the floors, fixed features (and furniture) in your home are protected with dust sheets. Examples of fixed features include floors, light switches, and kitchen countertops. Once the painting is complete, the painter will remove the dust sheets and any materials used. Although dust sheets will be used, please note it is not always possible to prevent all paint marks and dust. Your home may need to be cleaned once work is complete. If your quote includes extra cleaning, the painter will pay extra attention to keeping your home clean. However, please note that painters are not as good at cleaning as professional cleaners. There may still be spots to clean here and there. If you require the cleaning to be flawless, please consider employing a professional cleaning company.
12. What if I need to paint something very specific or uncommon?
If you have something additional you need painted and it is not included in the online calculator (eg. a staircase, the exterior) please write it in notes and send us photos on adam@painteradam.co.uk. If your quote includes extra cleaning, the painter will pay extra attention to keeping your home clean. However, please note that painters are not as good at cleaning as professional cleaners.
